The School Project: April 9 Panel at Chicago Filmmakers

TV Lab Partners from Kartemquin, Media Process Group, Kindling Group, Siskel/Jacobs and Free Spirit Media will give a presentation on The School Project initiative Saturday April 9 at Chicago Filmmakers.   Join filmmakers from these impactful Chicago film organizations at Chicago Filmmakers (5243 N Clark St in Andersonville) on Saturday, April 9 at 2pm for a panel discussion about how meaningful partnerships can increase the social capital of your digital media project.

About the School Project:

In 2013, CPS announced that an unprecedented 49 neighborhood schools would be permanently closed. THE SCHOOL PROJECT was a collaborative effort between five of the biggest mediamaking organizations in Chicago – MEDIA PROCESS GROUP, KARTEMQUIN EDUCATIONAL FILMS, THE KINDLING GROUP, FREE SPIRIT MEDIA, and SISKEL/JACOBS PRODUCTIONS. The team also leveraged significant media partnerships to increase viewership and engage audiences throughout Chicagoland and beyond.
