In the Fall semester of 2015 the tvlab is pleased to be partnering with Kindling Group and Siskel/Jacobs on No Small Matter, a documentary film and outreach campaign dedicated to improving early childhood education in America. While our partners focus on producing a feature-length documentary, we’ll be laying the groundwork with a YouTube channel that provides resources for parents, pre-school teachers and care-givers, and builds an online community dedicated to making sure our smallest citizens get what they need to thrive.
Tvlab faculty and fellows will work alongside students in Mat Rappaport’s Motion Graphic 3 class and Kristin Pichaske’s Documentary Production and Editing class to conduct research, strategize themes and content, and produce a series of pilot videos for the channel. Our target date for launching the No Small Matter channel is March 2016. Stay tuned!
